Meet Dr. Nathan Krug, MD

Nathan Krug, M.D., grew up on his family’s farm near Chapman, Nebraska, where he first learned the lessons of hard work, dedication, family, and community. After graduating from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where he lettered in football, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed his residency at the Wesley Family Medicine Residency Program within the University of Kansas medical system. He further went on to complete a fellowship program in Primary Care Sports Medicine.

Being board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, Dr. Krug brings the right mix to offer this unique “big city medicine” to rural Nebraska.

“I love seeing/helping patients achieve better health and helping athletes achieve their goals.” – Dr. Krug.

Dr. Krug and his wife, Christi, have four beautiful daughters Kaley, Aubrey, Libby, and Macy. When he is not cheering on the Huskers with his family, he enjoys bow hunting, running, fat-tire biking, and hiking. Recently, he has enjoyed participating in triathlons.

Twin Rivers is excited to have Dr. Krug as part of our growing team!
